About
A craftsman's approach to every instrument
I'm Michael Schroettner, a Certified Piano Technician with the Piano Technicians Association. I am tuning pianos starting 2026— from beginner spinets to Steinway concert grands.
Every piano is different. A 1920s upright in a living room has different needs than a new digital hybrid in a recording studio. I take the time to understand your instrument and your goals before I pick up a tuning hammer.
I believe good piano care should be straightforward and affordable. No upselling. Clear quotes before work begins. And I'll always tell you honestly if a repair isn't worth the cost.
